Becoming a driving instructor is a fantastic career move! There is plenty of work out there for driving instructors and this will continue well into the future.

If you are interested in becoming a driving instructor you need to:

- have held a full car driving licence for at least four years
- have good eyesight to read a new style number plate from 27 metres
- enjoy driving and be a competent driver
- have excellent communication skills
- have a relaxed and friendly personality
- be able to think and react quickly 
- feel motivated to improve road safety by delivering quality driving tuition

This is an enjoyable job with a lot of job satisfaction. There is good flexibility in the hours you work so you can fit the job around your lifestyle.

To become a driving instructor you have to pass three exams so it's important you are trained by a specialsit driving instructor training company such as ourselves.

We  are North Nottinghamshire’s only ORDIT registered driving instructor training company. ORDIT stands for Official Register of Driving Instructor Training. This means we are regularly inspected by the Driving Standards Agency who check we maintain a high standard of driving instructor training. This gives you assurance that you will receive excellent training. We are experts at traning people to become driving instructors. If a company is not on the ORDIT register do not pay them money to train you to become a driving instructor. They are not qualified to do this!

We will train you to become a driving instructor and once qualified can offer you a position on the Sherwood School of Motoring team where you can earn about £600 per week. Sherwood School of Motoring needs new driving instructors so if you're interested in a change of career now is a great time to become a driving instructor!!
